PHBC COVID POLICY

WE ARE AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A CITY-FOCUSED CHURCH.

Our motivation is to love God and love people neither over-reacting in fear or under-reacting in pride, but listening for the leading of the Holy Spirit as we enter into this current “season” of ministry. When culture shifts, we have to adapt and look for new methods to accomplish the mission that Christ has given His Church.

We will strive to be good neighbors, and to support the efforts of our government as they work to establish control over the current COVID-19 pandemic.

We will use this page as a means to cut through the noise and communicate directly to you with updates and announcements about the life and mission of Pleasant Hill Church.

Masks

With the CDC lifting mask requirements for those who are fully vaccinated and the governor of Ohio lifting all indoor mask mandates and limitations on indoor gathering size, we are no longer requiring masks or size limits for our gatherings. We will never ask anyone if they are vaccinated or not. Each persons health history is private and theirs alone.

With that in mind, we're giving the liberty for each to live by according to their conscience. If wearing a mask gives you confidence to gather and worship with us please wear one. If wearing a mask keeps you from worshipping with us, please don't wear a mask. We seek to be inclusive of everyone who will come to live the gospel alongside us. Please be patient, loving and kind with one another as we continue to navigate new waters.

Children's Ministries

We are offering nursery, preschool and children's church for kids birth to 5th grade during our 10:45 service. All staff have been trained to properly care for your children while they are with us. We ask that you follow the health guidelines listed above for your children prior to bringing them to worship.
